Networking: more community, more culture
For LAUMAS it is important to network with the associations on the territory, to discuss and cooperate with other realities in an atmosphere of mutual enrichment and value sharing.
These synergies give rise toprojects that we support and implement in various areas, including: environment, sustainability, culture, training and innovation.
Associations
The associations we actively participate in, collaborate with and support.
LAUMAS is an active member of GIA (Italian Artisan Business Group) which for more than 60 years has been uniting local entrepreneurs in the name of values such as sharing, common objectives, comparison and mutual support.
LAUMAS is a supporting member of “Parma, io ci sto!”. The purpose of the association is the enhancement and development of the territory, which is realized through the support and implementation of projects in various sectors, including: environmental sustainability, training and innovation, culture. Important goals that interpret our values and that we share together with the peaople and companies that support the Association and carry out its initiatives.
LAUMAS is a supporting member of the KilometroVerdeParma Consortium. Its objectives, which LAUMAS shares, are to improve and protect the well-being of the community and the health of the territory of Parma and its provice, also through concrete actions on the environment. “I take care of you by planting a tree” is the motto of the Consortium that, together with its associates, is committed to making our cities and communities safe, inclusive and sustainable.
LAUMAS is a founding member of the Automation Farm consortium, which aims to bring companies in the automation sector closer to schools and technical training institutions. The goal is to provide students with practical training in the field of industrial automation, through the skills of its technicians and experts.
Projects

LAUMAS supports Barezzi Festival, the cultural event where international music, art and gastronomy meet in the name of excellence: a series of concerts by brilliant artists from all over the world, to be experienced in unique and evocative places and theatres, with the aim of promoting talent and enhancing the culture and art of the Parma area.
LAUMAS is a partner of TEDxParma, the annual cultural event dedicated to spreading innovative and trasofrmative ideas with the aim of inspiring, educating, and connecting people. During the event, higlhly distinguished speakers take turns on stage with short, captivating, and high-impact talks, sharing the project, vision, or experience that changed their lives.
LAUMAS supports the Festival della Narrazione Industriale [Industrial Storytelling Festival], the cultural event that takes place annually in Parma to explore the link between industry, society, and culture. Through a program of conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and performances, the festival highlights the cultural role that businesses play in communities and people’s life.
LAUMAS is a partner of Salso Ludix – Mettiamoci in gioco, the association that organizes the event of the same name held annually in Salsomaggiore Terme (Parma), promoting board and role-playing games as a recreational, educational, and inclusive means for people of all ages.
LAUMAS supports L’Ottavo Colore, an association for LGBTQIA+ social development and support operating in Parma since 2007. The aim of the association is to combat homo-trans-biphobia, through information and awarness-rasing and by activating pathways of acceptance, reflection, inclusion and socialization, with a view to the full integration of LGBTQIA+ people in all contexts. The association promotes the culture of inclusiviness and diversity, understood as a plurality, richness and appreciation of differences.
LAUMAS supports the workshop project “The Game”: a physical space established within the Penitentiary Institutions of Parma that welcomes children who visit their detained family members. The goal i sto create a “soft” space for the minor, encouraging the to socialize, express themselves, and develop their creativity, thereby approaching the visit in an atmosphere of serenity that contributes to their emotional and psycological well-being.
