Its 17-4 Ph stainless steel temper combines hardness, toughness, resistance to corrosion and extreme durability over time.

As a tension load cell, it can also act as a load limiter in lifting systems such as cranes and bridge cranes.
For some particular applications, such as overhead platforms, it can be supplied with a redundant safety system (with two independent Wheatstone bridges).
FOCUS:
17-4 Ph stainless steel has a hysteresis cycle tending to zero.
If subjected to a force, it has the ability to deform and then return to its initial condition.

Nevertheless, it also does so by simplifying the assembly operations, also thanks to the complementary accessory that often accompanies it: the EM ball joint in stainless or galvanized steel, which guarantees its correct installation and accurate weighing.

It is completely dust and waterproof with an IP68 protection rating (IP69K on request).
In the most demanding sectors, it is super-performing.
2 special covers also ensure the tightness.
The covers are laser welded in the middle of the load cell with 2 turns of spot welding and they merge with the cell into a single body, making it impenetrable.
FOCUS:
The covers are extremely thin (only 0.1 mm).
Their design is specifically designed not to generate any mechanical friction.
In this way they protect the load cell without compromising its repeatability and linearity.
